Internet connection shutdown

when i connect to the internet a message appaers after about 5 mins. It reads 'windows must now restart because the remote procedure call (rpc) service terminated unexpectally' and it informs me that it was initiated by Nt authority/system. Can anybody help

Check for blaster worm virus: http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.a

Youe definitly have the lovesan virus. You need Microsoft patch kb823980. Then use stinger.exe from the Network associates site. Anti virus programs wont work unless you apply the patch first.
