Hello,

With these multi cordless handsets that you can buy, where there's more than just the one base, am I correct in thinking only the main base unit has to be plugged into the phone socket?

I'm thinkin' of gettin the folks these for xmas....

but, in our house we only have two phone sockets, front room, bedroom, but a phone in the kitchen would be nice. So the third would be pointless if all the three bases had to be plugged into sockets.

Anyone help?

Cheers

Yes, the main base unit handles all the calls and so is the only device which requires connection via a phone socket. The base unit distributes its signal to all the cordless handsets registered to it and within its wireless range.
