Hi I'm asking this on behalf of my brother who wants to know how to get the themes or wallpaper to stretch accross the screen rather than being a little picture in the middle with the time and date underneath it.

If its the same as the K800, then when you select wallpaper it gives you 2 options, one to use standard, which is what your explaining and the other maximised, its the latter you need to use.
