your saying the brand of your disks are ok?
and
your downloading a file(s) from limewire?
and your trying to make them play in your standalone player?
if so what is the file extension of the file(s) you have aquired for example .avi .img .vob .mpg etc
what are you doing with nero to burn them?
or are you trying to copy an original disk
its hard to tell from what you have said
should be pretty easy to diagnose with said info

i guess your using nero 5 or later?
They have a video section i forget the exact name of the app but it is obvious which one converts the avi for you.
you can make menus etc. This always works for me
you might need to make sure its converting it to pal as some tv's cant display ntsc or it will maybe display black and white.
you should end up after some time (hours) with two folders one for audio and one for video with approx four vob files and an .ifo etc on the disc
