I need to buy a digital camera very soon, and have been reading reviews and reports of the Nikon coolpix 2100 and Fujifilm finepix 2800 zoom - but ended up with a spinning head, and still confused. I would be very grateful if anyone would give me the 'pros and cons' of both models. Thank you.
Very clever answer blarneystone, eveyone is impressed at the level of your wit.(Yawn).Now try answering the question, unless of course, your wit is limited.(zzzzzz.........).
I was hoping that you would have had more replies because I too am thinking of buying a digital camera and others opinions would be helpful.Thank you for thanking me(whatever the reason).
I must admit robber I was surprised as well, perhaps everybody on this site has an Olympus or Canon! I don't know if you have access to a Jessops shop near you, but for sheer knowledge of subject they're hard to beat - and even better on-line deals. Might be worth a look:
I've got a Coolpix 2100 and have to say i couldn't be happier with it. It takes great pics and is very small. The 2 megapixels are ideal for normal size prints and the camera is very easy to use. The software supplied is really easy to use as well. Iimages can be transfered with one click of the mouse.
I chose the Nikon because of the history they have making cameras (and the spec). Nikon make their own lenses and Fuji have only recently started making cameras they mostly made film before so the pedigree was a big thing in my choice.
Thank you Jules for your answer, but since I posted this Q I've bought a telescope instead!! What you say is so true about experience and the good name, so when I have the cash it will be the Nikon.
