does anybody know if its safe to go on "you tube.com" my son would like to use this site for downloading music, but it comes up with message saying java script turned off, but as im technologically challenged dont really know if i should let him use this site? HELP!!!

I watch a lot of clips on it - there is some porn hidden amongst it though, under very innocuous names. Although youtube is quick to remove it if it's reported.
I suggest you have a good look at the site yourself first.
To enable java you need to go in to your browser settings - usually tools - internet options (or options) - content.

Just to clarify - I do not use YouTube to watch porn.

Yes you can download and save them ,keepvid or videodownloader extensions will allow you to save them as .flv files which can then be played with the excellent VLC media player
