If you drag and drop mp3 files into WMP, then burn them to disc, CD RW will do if you dont want to keep a copy, when you've done this, click rip tab, now you are in rip mode, all the files you have burned can now be converted to wma files, the track list of the cd you have just burned will appear ready to rip when you put the newly burned disc back in cd drive now go to the top right of WMP where the cross is to close WMP where you will see a small triangle pointing down, click this, then tools>options, then click on rip music, now this opens up settings for wma files to be ripped to, the smaller the setting 48kb is the lowest, and perfectly adequate for an mp3 player, I have a 256mb player that holds 180 files in wma, when it is set to the smallest bit you can increase this to whatever you like, higher bit, means less files although better quality, so set that with mouse pointer then click apply> ok, thenclose that, now click rip music in the right hand corner, it will begin ripping tracks to your library, after it has ripped to your library, then just right click each track to add to sync list, do this with all cds or tracks you want to play on your mp3, it's easier if you just rip all cds you have or any music and rip them to your library as you get them, so when you want to change your mp3 tracks, you simply click on the tracks which are now all wma files, and sync to mp3 player, I hope this is not too complicated for you, it will get easier the more you do it, when you've put all the tracks in the sync list you want on your mp3 player, then start sync, and they will all be added to your mp3 player
