My second computer only has 128mb thats gathering dust hasn't been used in a while would i be able to go online if I bought a router I have been told two different things one is NO the memory wont allow me to use AOL9 another told me YES because the router has a 128mb so I can?

128Mb is plenty enough RAM to get online with. Whether the AOL software will run is another matter, but bear in mind that you don't need AOL to get online! Other ISPs will work fine if AOL won't (and I would recommend other ISPs).
