Why is that every time I call up a map on the Streetmap.co.uk site, at least one of the frames does not load, leaving gaps in the map? Is there any way around this problem?

one way (though not the answer you were looking for) is to use http://uk2.multimap.com/ instead

right click over the offending section and select 'Show Picture'

Thanks gilf, but that doesn't work - not using this machine anyway, so I'm afraid that answer gets a zero star rating ;oP I have found though, when you left click on the offending section it opens up that part of the map, but then you lose the arrow position you had. Ah, the joys of being bored stiff at work...
