Getting audio (voice) onto computer for use in language teaching soft.
1 Answers
I am putting together an interactive bit of software for language teaching that will contain conversations. I was thinking of buying one or those digital voice recorders to record the conversations and using the attached usb cable to up load the conversations to the pc. Can anyone suggest a better way? Am looking at Sony and Olympus models.

All you need is a microphone plugged into the appropriate socket in your sound card. Depending on the sound card you have the software will be different. If your sound card does not support recording (Extremely unlikely) then you will need to buy a more modern one and have it installed.
