planning to get my first sat nav, a tomTom ONE V2 Europe. does anyone recomend it ?

Go for it - we have had a Tom Tom for 3 -4yrs now - with Europe maps - took us right into a tint French village to the door wit no probs - we dont use it much now as we have one built in to the car

No, go for a Garmin, cheaper and better.

I have found tomtom one v2 europe at 198.57 pounds with 2 yrs warrenty. I did borrow one of my mates tomtom and it was really good. It was more to do with the europe part. I did have a look at the Garmin but they were more expensive.
