How do I set Date/Time on an Olympus C-5050Zoom

I can set the Date/Time on the Setup Menu for the camera. It shows correctly in the Viewfinder screen.
I can not get this to display on the picture once taken.
I have read the manual ! No info there.
Any idea anyone
