Outlook Express

I am using Outlook Express 6 and now my delete button isn't working. When I click on it nothing happens. When I try to move a message by selecting move to folder it says that the message can not be moved, an error has occured. It all started when I was trying to delete many messages at once because my folders are so full of old stuff. Has this ever happened to anyone else? How can I fix it? Is there online support I could use? Thanks for any help.
