I`ve lost my buttons.

I have Internet Explorer with Yahoo as homepage. My back and forward buttons, usually in top L.H.corner, have suddenly disappeared, and also the yellow star which calls up the Favourites. Maybe it`s something I`ve inadvertently done to cause it. Any ideas, please? 711

Right click on any blank part of the bar that contains the words File, Edit, View, etc. You'll probably see that there's no tick alongside 'Standard Buttons'. Click to put the tick in place and your missing buttons should magically reappear.
