How do I request a copy of an old Blue Peter show?

I want a copy of one of the shows from the early 90's. It is because my drawing appeared in one of their competition's as a runner up and they talked and showed my picture on screen for a good few minutes. I was so excited as a child and had it recorded on VHS until my older brother recordered over it, I was so upset and have been looking for a copy ever since.

I have emailed Blue Peter to ask twice if they have a copy but have heard nothing.

It was the 'Design a Phone Card' competition, if that helps we were supposed to draw a picture which would be printed on phone cards.

Any help much appreciated.

You have to buy the copyright from bbc. I think it may be expensive.

Last time I requested a copy of a BBC programme was several years ago, and they wanted �40. Apparently the tapes used are not in a format that can be used by the public, and would have to be copied onto a VHS tape (it was years ago). It was the Enquiry Office in Belfast that I contacted. although the programme was put out in the South West area. They told me that they would re-broadcast it for me and let me know when it was to be shown so that I could record it. Unfortunately, they failed to tell me and I missed it again.

I have finally got and answer back from Blue Peter who have given me details of who to contact re copies but do say that it is rather expensive. So I have just sent them an email to request the cost of a copy and whether I can request just a 'clip' instead of the whole episode.

I will keep looking on the internet though as I do agree knobby that they must be there some where thanks for the websites.

lol grunty arrrrr so sorry u missed it again funny story though. May be it will be on again. I live in the south west so if you tell me what it was maybe I could tell you if it comes on again!!! lol
