Laminators

I'm aware that if you use a laminator on say a newspaper it'll stop it turning yellow, or on a photocopy/other printed stuff then the ink won't be able to leech off [like it'll do in a plastic wallet] But would it prevent the ink fading in sunlight?

if only partially correct. The rate of fade will be less after lamination, as the sunlight is partially absorned by the plastic lamination. However it is only slowed not stopped.
