There is another queer thing happening.
My Recycle Bin is showing that there is something in it, even though there isn't. I clicked on 'Empty the Recycle Bin', to see what would happen and I got a message asking if I was sure that I wanted to get rid of 'Windows'. There's nothing in the bin, and I certainly wouldn't wish to get rid of Windows. What on earth is happening?

Thanks for the input, but the message was a continuation of a previous message under 'Computers', but it somehow went astray. If you read the original, you'll see that I can't use a Anti-Virus prrogramme, because I'm already locked into one that won't activate.
