I am aware that you can reach the mailbox direct on another person's mobile phone without speaking to them. How do I do this?

Try this, call the message centre using the full number, (not the short cut eg 901) enter your mobile number followed by * when prompted key the PIN or the default number set for your phone.

I'm talking about someone else's mobile phone. What I want to know is how to leave a message for someone without speaking to them even if their phone is switched on.
