Help - Junk E-Mails!!!!!!!!

Hi all, we've just returned from a 10 day holiday & received 63 e-mails, 52 of them junk! I always block these to the delete file on receiving them, but how can I stop these pests from reaching my PC at all? Thanx.

You don't know how lucky you are! I use web-based Yahoo for my email, which is very convenient when away from home - but the amount of junk is astounding. Having cleared my inbox this morning, I have just had to clear a further 59 junk emails; and they generally come in at about 100 or more per day.

Well PaulB, as soon as I received your answer this morning, I downloaded the free software from www.mailwasher.net & haven't received any junk e-mails as yet! Thanx for the info & I will let you know how it goes. Cheers. P.S. It's very frustrating isn't it geofbob?!!!!

The mailwasher doesn't actually stop the emails but it lets you "View" what is on the server before download. Also, it allows you to bounce messages which is great :o)
