tv wont come on

i was just watching tv when it turned itself off ! the on / off button shows a red light which normally goes green when it is switched back on, but it just stays red. I have tried switching off at the wall but it is still the same. any ideas ?

It would help if you gave some important information such as the make and model no of the TV taken from the rear label.

Sounds like your tv is in stanby mode. Try new batteries in the remote. Or try pressing a channel button on the tv itself to switch the tv back on to rule out the remote as a cause.
