Will a computer carry on downloading from limewire

just a tip,
but
if you are using limewire make sure you have an excellent antivirus and firewall installed as i have had no end of problems with limewire-

a good one is bearshare lite- (also free) available on www.filehippo.com
lots of rare tracks/ quick downloads/ and i havent had any problems with it.

along with firewalls & antiv programmes (mostly free software)
the above site is well worth a look-
has loads of free software available for quick download.

as with it continuing to download-
if it is minimized it will continue d.loading, if it is closed- the application will stop running.

To answer you question, no, if the computer goes into standby then you will not continue downloading from limewire.
