Google search

Is there a method when searching in Google to look at just the UK sites by having this as the default. I can do this initially but after that I lose the option and would prefer it to be a permanent feature. Browsing through all the US web sites is such a waste of time.

the easiest way is to download the google Toolbar
http://toolbar.google.com/T4/intl/en-GB/index_ xp.html?utm_source=en_GB-et-more&utm_medium=et &utm_campaign=en_GB
it's free and has some good options on of which is
you can set UK for all searches ... google, froogle etc
you still get global ... but only after the UK options

Or if you don't want the toolbar, just change your google link to this:
http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?hl=en&btnG=Googl e+Search&cr=countryUK%7CcountryGB

I don't think fo3nix read the question properly. ACthe troll's answer is more suitable. For whatever reason by having a different toolbar like he suggested much of the unwanted rubbish is not shown and all the retrieved web sites are more relevent. And even so why should you need to specify the uk each time.
