ebay

I have a well established Mail-Order company and have recenly started trading on ebay selling mainly low-value items of stockings and tights - quite successfully. I put the items on ebay in UK but have recently posted to Ireland and Greece (free of charge) because they made a specific enquiry.
However, two days ago received an e-mail from Texas asking for confirmation (no idea what for) and then today another e-mail from same Texas address asking for his goods. I have no idea what is going on because never sold on ebay to USA and no interest really in anywhere but UK for e-bay.
Tried to return e-mail with success, looked on ebayCOM and found my goods listed with sterling price and corresponding amount in dollars. Anyone an idea what is going on. From previous threads I have got the impression that ebay are useless in answering.
