Im going to be there for 2 weeks would they deliver to my hotel while I am in California?

Remember if you buy a laptop over there and bring it back here to use consider the following:
The keyboard is NOT the same as a UK keyboard, keys are in different places.
Windows and other software may be set up for US and not UK.
Modem and other telephonic devices may not work in the UK.
Dell will almost certainly not support it back in the UK if it goes wrong.
If you are caught bringing it back into the UK by customs they will charge you tax on it. And they can tell if it is a US laptop by the keyboard.
If that is you plan I would not bother and try to buy it in the UK.

No they won't - I couldn't even get them to deliver to my work address - despite the fact I told them I would never be at my home address during the day. I had to make a 70 mile round trip to the UPS depot to pick it up on a Saturday in the end! Apparently they can only deliver to where your credit card is registered
