Uninstalling McAfee

This programme does not want to get off my computer! I downloaded a free demo version to keep me going whilst I looked for a decent software, but now that I've found another programme and I've tried to uninstall McAfee, it wont leave! There's a component thats calling itself 'undefined' that wont uninstall which wont allow the rest of the programme to unistall. Any suggestions?

try starting in safe mode and then uninstalling it. that usually works
