Photography Manipulation
5 Answers
I dont know much about photography but I have a standard non-digital photograph that was taken from a very ordinary camera. I want a section of the photo enlarged to the size of a standard photo but because the quality is poor the pixels might become too stretched and therefore distort the picture. Can you do anything with this ? If not do you know If it is even possible to make it so it is not distorted and who might be able to assist with this. ?

There are some freeware products which will do similar changes if it's just the one photo you want to do but you can buy Photoshop Elements 2 quite cheaply on Ebay.
I appreciate that and I will bear it in mind as a last resort but I am a bit lazy and I unless a programme is easy to pick up and use I get irritated quickly and it looks complicated...I want someone to do it for me but dont know where to start looking...Its appreciated though...I did not know if it was even possible...now I know it is..Thanks
most camera shops (not the supermarket photo-processing places, i mean a real camera/photo processing shop) have the ability to do this for you. take the photo in and explain what you want - in fact they usually have a computer on-hand to show you what the resultant photo would look like, on screen, before creating the output
