I use Hotmail. When I send an e-mail there is a message added to the end of it. It is a link to a site which "finds singles in your area". How do I get rid of it & how did it get there in the first place?

This is advertising revenue for hotmail - it is how they make their money. After all, you don't pay to use hotmail.

There is nothing you can do, except change your email address to your isp email.
