WPA Security setup

I want to set up the WPA security on my wireless network. I'm being asked for a Radius server IP ( a series of numbers by the looks of things), a Radius port and a Radius shared key which i guess is just a password, but what are the first two and where do i find this info? I'm signed up to a bt broadband connection and using a Safecom wireless router (though not at the moment!)Thanks.

Where are you being asked this? You shouldn't need to even think about radius servers.

When i look at the list of available networks from my computer mine shows up as unsecured. So I log on to the admin section of my safecom router; checking the WPA option brings up the boxes for - radius server ip, radius port and radius shared key. I go huh? I know the answer will be simple but nothing connected with this damn product is in plain english...

Try just ignoring them, and see if that lets you do anything.

Otherwise ignore the port and server ip and try justentering a shared key (about 13 characters, random if possible).

What router do you have? If you give me a brand and model number I can find the documentation online and maybe give better help.

Its an SWAMRU -54108 ADSL modem router made by Safecom

Choose WPA-PSK instead. Then just type a password as usual.
