Not sure of the pop up is from AOL, it just says on the blue edge of the pop up AOL Security Warning ... what should I do ?

When your browser identifies a site which uses Flash (or a later version of Flash than the one you've got installed), your browser will ask you if you want to install Flash. Since AOL has its own browser, it would seem likely that any message about Flash would show 'AOL' somewhere in the message.

If you're still not sure, ignore the pop-ups and install Flash directly from Adobe's website:
