I got a Pocket PC (ie. palmpilot/palmtop) for Christmas. I have Real Player & Windows Media Player on it already. Could someone tell me how to get music on to it, possibly from my laptop?

Did it come with a cradle that allows you to connect to a PC via USB or serial port? If yes then you must set up the cradle and install Microsoft Activesync. This will allow you to synchronise stuff like Microsoft Outlook (for your emails, contacts and calendar) but also it will sync to data folders in which you could place music files. If no then you will have to look into buying one.
What sort is it? If its a "Pocket PC" its based on Windows CE so you just need a link cable which should have been supplied and a copy of Active sync (which I would imagine you should have also got with it) this is avaliable to down load free from Microsoft. If its a Palm I have no idea but as it has Windows media player I'm assuming its not. The connect is normally via USB. Or does it have a slot for a memory card ? if so a better option I have found is to by a memory card and reader from Jessops or Dixons and then you can just copy the files onto that and then put that in the Pocket PC and away you go, this also means you don;t waste the internal memory in the pocket PC.
