I have just received an AOL broadband (silver) wireless internet kit. After waiting an age for a connection I rang AOL support. We discovered that my laptop is not compatible until Realtek configure the wireless adaptor. The Realyek Hardware is version RTL8139/810x FamilyFast Ethernet NIC if that helps?
I can't find the official Realtek website either. What can I do to load this software successfully?

I am still confused as to which description I should download in order to enable wireless connection. The Realtek site has loads for RTL8139. Please can you be more specific?
Thanks

This is probably the one. Auto install for Windows XP and older windows versions.

Once again, thanks for your answer, but not being very PC technical how do I download this as I can't see this within the Realtek download selection page for the RTL8139 system?
Sorry, that should have come up as a link. It's the 2nd one down in the list for Windows.

Auto installation program (support WinXP 64/Win98SE/WinME/Win2K/WinXP ver.663))(Submission ID: 1237499)

Thank you. Found it. I have tried to download but the internet explorer cannot display the page at present. Perhaps I shall revisit at a later date as I can only think that their website is encountering problems at present. Would you agree?

I still am unable to download the software from Realtek that you have suggested. Why would this be?
Thanks
