camera Lens

I have a number of Canon slr camera lens ( film ). Does anyone know if they are compatable with Canon`s digital cameras eg the EOS range ?

If they are Canon EF lenses, then yes.

The old lens are to fit canon AE1.I dont know if that means they are EF.

Unfortunately the Canon AE_1 uses FD lenses. You can use them but only with an adaptor. Focusing would then be manual. Exposure would be manual or aperture priority.

yes they are i used to have a cannon eos and now have the 400d and also have a 80 to 200 lens which i kept and it works perfect on my 400d

I recently bought a Canon EOS400, and I seem to remember reading somewhere that the lenses from 35mm cameras work but the focal length will be different. Can't remember whether it was longer or shorter though.
