I use firefox too.

Open that link, right click anywhere on the page and click 'send to'

This opens your email and you can forward the link.

Unfortunately Ethel that brings up an old email (on outlook express) which I can't use. How can I get in onto Yahoo.
Have you set up your Yahoo! mail with POP3 forwarding so that you can access it using Outlook Express?
I have just created a Yahoo account to have a look.

When you click 'compose and email' - there is a row of icons next to the font style and size,

One of those looks like a paperclip on a ball - it's next to a smiley face.

Click that, a box pops up - put the link in the box and it creates a hyperlink - a clickable link.

:)

Will try now, fingers crossed!
Question Author
Well apparently the link has been received - I don't know how, I am so totally confused now. None of it seems to work for me. Is it me I wonder!
Question Author
Oh dear, Ethel have done all that paperclip thingy, and I pasted the address bar which I copied, and click on Ok but nothing appears in the email. What am I doing wrong please?
Question Author
Have tried typing the link into the box but still nothing appears.
When you type the link in the message body (i.e. underlined red, as you described in the question) although it is not clickable to you, it becomes a clickable link for the recipient.
Question Author
Oh is it that simple, I know she has received it but no idea how. When I put a link on AB it appears immediately as a clickable link.
Question Author
Sorry to be difficult kempie but I've just sent myself one and it's not clickable.
Look in your Sent folder and check if the copy of the email has a clickable link.
I can't understand it - just tried the hyperlink box in yahoo, pasted the address in, clicked ok - and there it was - a clickable link in the body of the email.
Question Author
I can't understand any of it, there is no clickable link on my "sent" email, and nothing appears even now once I have pasted into that little box. Am I doing it right. I highlight the address bar, and copy, then click onto email and bring up that little box, and paste the address bar link into it, press Ok and nothing happens.
Question Author
...but having said this, somewhere along the line she has received it.
Question Author
Ethel can you email me the link at [email protected] and I'll see if I get it please!
Sent. :)
Question Author
Thank you Ethel have received the link perfectly, so I know it works, but I just can't get it right. I'll keep trying.
Question Author
Am sending you one back to see if I can do it.
Question Author
Guess it didn't happen. No worries, I'll keep at it but not on your email, many thanks.x
