we puchased a lcd 32" tv from argos 2 month ago but we are hearing a buzzing sound(not too loud) which we have to have the volume quite loud to blank it out. we can't find the receipt but i still have my bank statement from when we purchased it and also the catalogue number. will they still solve our problem?

I'd say so - they'll have you on file now
I assume bankstatement = debit/credit card?
(remember purchases are protected if you use a credit card!)

.... get them to print another bill also
Bank statement is proof enough of the purchase. Take it back and get it replaced.
is the purchase guaranteed 2 months on tho ?
Your bank statement is good enough proof of purchase. Don't be fobbed off, within 6 months you can demand a repair or replacement since there is an "inherant fault". Their policy is irrelevant, this is the law.
