bt or not

having just received my phone bill...aaarrgh
is there any other telephone company out there who are cheaper than bloody bt.
if there is would changing to another telephone company disrupt me getting online on my computer.
are bt a rip off or what?????
i made �10 worth of calls this quarter and got a bill of �50.

So �10 in calls + your internet connection ? + rental (which includes repairing the line if it goes faulty) =�50

Of course there are cheaper ... take a look at watchdog ...
I had a fault recently .... fixed next day ....
My friend on cable ... took him most of the day just to report the problem.
