modem me up

I have just signed up for the x-box live to my horror i have realised that i need another modem,so guess who is pinching my modem all the time.....yes thats right my delightful child.
We have only one and its connected to MY P.C
I hardly get time to play with my computor (we are very close) and i would like to know where the hell to get another modem from before i put my child up for adoption. cheers peeps x x x

not sure if you are referring to xbox or xbox 360 but you have two easy options :-
1 Get a router instead of a modem this allows multiple devices all to access the internet at once
2 get a network card. you can then connect to xbox live via ICS(Internet computer sharing(I think!)).
number one is easiest, a little more expensive but easier in the long run.i recommend netgear routers but whichever you buy makes sure it has modem etc built in.a good guide is to search on amazon and use their top ten as a guide.in my experience this is a very good guide as sales dont lie !
