starting a download from it interruption point

hi if a download get stuck or stops half way through downloading cos I have to reset the machine can I do something so it starts where it left off...if i just do save target as it will start form scratch..is there a way to get it to pick up fomr where it left off...thanks

You can resume downloads by using a decent download manager (which will also speed up your downloads by making multiple simultaneous connections). The most popular is probably Download Accelerator Plus. (I'm happy with it, although it does have some critics here on AB):
