Right Mouse Button Click Errors

Nearly every other time I right click my right mouse button on a file or application I get a Windows Explorer error message:

Windows Explorer has encounted a problem and needs to close....

A friend said it may be something to do with DEP ( Dat Execution Preventable ) Howver I have selected both Turn on for all and Turn on except and I still get this probelm. Please please help
