whenever i save a site to my desktop by creating a short cut ,how can i save the site logo as well ,for example ebay barclay card ,even this site the answerbank.co.uk as seen in the top left hand corner ,whenever i save them all i get is an ' e' inside a square ,which is the logo for internet explorer . there must be a way to do this

Some websites don't have icon logos. I don't believe this one does. Is that what you are referring to?

The pictures are not saved when you save the page because all you are saving is the code which tells your browser where to go to find the picture within the site. You could right click the picture and then "save picture as..." then edit the code to point to the location on your hard drive to find the picture.

Save the logo picture separately. Go into teh properties of the shortcut once it has been made and browse to the logo in the icon section. This is company logos http://companylogos.ws/
