mouse trouble

Hi,every now and then although it is getting quite regular,my computer mouse freezes and I can,t move it at all.I have to turn the computer off and switch it back on again,has anybody got any clues as to why this keeps on happening?Thanks,

same problem. hard drive was nearly full. removed unwanted material. now okay
