Is this a boot-up password request from the BIOS, or a Windows (assuming you are using Windows) login password?

If it is the latter, then have you changed any settings in Control Panel/User Accounts/Change the way users log on or off?

It asks for password in windows(xp home). I have not changed any settings but i have got two young teens who deny tampering. Is there any way of solving my problem cause i carn`t get any further than the password request, it wont even start in safe mode?
