i have just upgraded to the vista system and cant get my lexmark 1270 to scan any ideas please, as there is no on-line help available

Have you downloaded the driver to make it Vista compatible?

you need a new driver. go to http://downloads.lexmark.com/en/us/index.html
then follow the prompts from "find drivers and downloads".

Have heard stories of varying success with this though - but then, that's Vista for you.

many thanx to Ethel & mushroom25 got the scanner software eventually & Lexmark have now have released a software patch
