Bluetooth: PC to mobile phone

Need help desperately for the sake of my sanity!! I have today bought an Advent Bluetooth V2.0 + EDR adapter so I can send files to and from my mobile phone. However, when I try to send a wma music file, it's gets to 1% done, then I get an error message saying "sending of file failed".
Please help!!!!!!

a lot of WMA files are protected, so it could be that ! Also (May sound obvious) Can your phone play WMA files, most music phones,I know only play mp3 files !

That could be it. Cheers. Is there any way round it?
Where did you get the WMA file from ?, if its from a p2p site, go back and download it in mp3 format, or if youve ripped it yourself, save the file as mp3 instead of WMA. hope this helps

Just tried that- didn't wok either. Seems that anything over 1/2 Mb won't transfer. Any more suggestions, Ill try anything!
