Selling Unwanted Household Items

I've got some large household items I can no longer use/keep when I move to my new house but I'm having problems selling them.

Other than the obvious - advertising in local supermarket, Gumtree, Ebay, etc. what else can I do, I really need to make some money from the sale of these items but my move is getting closer and I will have no room to store them. Any ideas?

Send to auction.

Put them out the front with a notice on them saying for sale enquire within.

Or take them to a local a boot fair or get someone else to seel them for you at a boot fair.

try admag or ad trader, free to advertise and is area specific, buy a copy from the newsagent and the local numbers are in it. Takes about 3 days from phoning your copy in to advertisement going in, it's published twice a week.

You may have to pay your local council to pick them up and dispose. Hardly anyone wants beds, mattresses, armchairs and cookers. How do I know? It's what we had to do when moving house.

You may not need to pay for them to be taken away if you put them on uk.freecycle.org/ , but that wouldn't get you any money.
