Is theAB Becoming just another chat room?

I have been a member of the AB for over 3 years now, and over the past 6 months it seems to have become more of a chat room than a Q&A site.I have just read a threat of over 70 answers, and none of them are Q&A, it is all hi how are you stuff. I dont object to people have debates or serious discussions about things, but the AB seems to get hammered in the early hours by people who have just come in from the club, who can think of nothing better to do than clog up this site with nonsense.

Does anyone else feel the same? Am I being harsh?

I quite agree with you. I think some are just whiling away their time, having nothing else to do. Some sections seem more prone to this treatment and eventually many other people will avoid those secions.

Body and soul is the worst catagory for it.
