Is the The Answerbank running slow or is it a problem with mine and carakeels PC's

i usually get the " this domain name is owned my (insert the name), if you want to buy it"???

i did put an offer in but i dont think it was taken seriously!!!

I had the same as you, John. Thought I had entered some sort of parallel universe.

I also kept getting 'server error' every 2 minutes, coupled with 'internet page cannot be displayed'.

Every other site was fine.

now now Ratter old boy calm down. workers have rights apparently, you need to discipline them in stages
1) sit down informally + chat to see if they have any problems at work, home etc
2) tell them their performance is below the expected standard, set standards and a time frame to be met.
3) review performance
4) verbal warning
5)written warning
6)final written warning
7)right that's, final final warning
8)no messing now, you do that again and yhe consequences are dire, do you understand?
9) come on now, \we've bent over backwards to help you, this really is your final final warning
10) the company has downsized, im afraid your services are no longer required

the site seemed to crash completely an hour or so ago, I couldn't even get on to it. Then it returned but I couldn't post. Seems up and running again now. Possibly Craig007 was tunnelling into SAB to sabotage it and accidentally cut through the wires leading from the hamsters' wheel to the AB server?

I had trouble yesterday and again this afternoon.Sometimes it was alright the next minute saying website unavailable.then i would click again and it would come up.so annoying but pleased to know I was not alone.I blamed my computer.

Oh I got a totally different error.

i got a lovely white screen with the words "we'll be back soon" in the top left hand corner.

It's now back (obviously!) but like the rest of you, it's painfully slow loading pages, and that's when it bothers, 9 times out of ten i get the time out message instead.

I wish that there were some way of seeing when ABEd has posted a new blog rather than repeatedly going to have a look and finding nothing new. Surely it's not beyond the with of the techies to display the date of the latest blog?
