Ok guys, weird one this. I have a Packard Bell 'IGO 4451' laptop. I haven't got a manual for it to find out if it has Infra Red capabilities etc. I went to Packard bell's website and entered my serial number for support and it just says 'The Serial Number entered is not recognized for Personalisation' what else can I do if anything please? Ta

You could try phoning Packard Bell, or send them an email with all the information you know, but it'd be much quicker by phone.

Have a look around the laptop. If you see a (usually) small, dark, shiny bit, then it's probably an infra-red port. If you can see one, you probably haven't got it.
