I have a new keyboard but the numbers on the numberpad do not type. Everything else works (ie. Home, PgUp, End etc) but it will not type numbers. I have checked my regionals and language settings to make sure they all say English (United Kingdom), which they do. Please help !!!

Yes, of course ! Thanks anyway.
It's got something to do with my actual machine being american. But I have researched all the threads on here regarding changing from USA to UK and have done everything I can see to do. It isn't a faulty keyboard either, as I have tried two different ones.
There is no difference in the way the numeric pad works on UK and US keyboards (in fact, on any nationality of keyboard) and the only difference the regional setting should make is to change the decimal point to a comma for those countries where it's appropriate. I think that you are following a red herring.
I won't post any other answers in case you have already tried them too.
