Which one should I choose for reliability & performance ?
Capacity is not an issue but it must be an iPod to go with my Bose SoundDock.

Thanks

The nano. It uses flash memory, the 30GB iPod uses a hard drive.

Flash consumes less power, and can be thrown about since it's solid state (the hard drive has moving parts).

Having said that, you're unlikely to really notice any problems with the regular iPod anyway, unless you take it to the gym.
