Changing a file to another file type

I need to change a .MSWMM (a window movie player file) file to an MP3/AVI or any file that will play on a discplayer. I need to merge 3 tracks onto 1 track to be played at a wedding, yet the only program i have managed to do this on is windows movie maker. i tried goldwave but that didn't work.
